A series of buildings on the 600 block of Hamilton Street have been demolished as part of an ongoing neighborhood improvement effort.
The buildings, constructed prior to the Great Depression, were deemed to have exceeded their useful life and to be uninhabitable. The land where they once stood has been backfilled and graded.
